I have been taking Serra defend Digedtive enzyme capsules once daily empty stomach in the morning for over a month now along with other health supplements. I feel this product works amazingly great for people with digestive issues. It has helped me overcome my candida overgrowth and I just feel so blessed that I am able to atleast include certain food into my diet which I had to quit earlier.

I've been using this product for 2 1/2 months. I take it when I wake up in the night, I'm sure it's on an empty stomach. I use it as support for my gut. I continue to be off my RA meds and feel good. I feel this product is an import component in my health plan.

I take it as directed, but whether it’s doing anything helpful or not, I cannot say for sure maybe after consuming the complete bottle I will have a different opinion.

I take one of these before bed, my nose usually opens up a bit about 20 minutes after taking it. I see mucus and biofilm looking stuff in my stools when taking this. It's working for sure.

I find that it causes me to feel nauseous. It says to take on an empty stomach. Can I take it with food?

Some people are particularly sensitive to serrapeptase, one of the two proteolytic enzymes in SerraDefend, and this can sometimes lead to feelings of nausea—especially when taken on an empty stomach. While it’s designed to be taken without food for best results, it’s perfectly fine to take it with a small amount of food if that helps reduce discomfort. Since the standard dose is one capsule per day, another option is to take it every other day while your body adjusts. I do think they help, the enzymes look very good, I have not yet gotten rid of my yeast problem, but hope to soon be rid of it. So I do not fully know yet.

In Nov. 2023, I purchased the Candida Cleanse system from Balance One, which was excellent. Part of the program included adding SerraDefend as a prebiotic, along with the Balance One probiotic. I've been using these 2 products for over a year now. They keep me regular and feeling no more belly bloating! Highly recommend.
