SerraDefend does not need to be refrigerated. However, it will stay freshest when stored in a cool, dry place.

SerraDefend is made in California, USA, using high-quality ingredients sourced from around the world, in a GMP-certified, FDA-compliant facility. We use rigorous quality control on our ingredients and processes to ensure the highest standards.

Almost all enzyme formulations use maltodextrin as the carrier for their enzymes, even though some of them choose not to include it on their Supplement Facts label. Our enzymes are a liquid and are sprayed on to maltodextrin to keep them stable. The amount of maltodextrin used is small.

SerraDefend is completely free of nuts, wheat, gluten, soy, and dairy. It is vegan, completely non-GMO, and free from all preservatives and artificial colors or flavors. Our facilities are fully cGMP-compliant and operate to the highest standards. In addition, we use rigorous quality control to ensure that our supplements match what it says on the label.

For some people, enzyme formulations like SerraDefend can cause mild digestive symptoms at first. They might include gas, bloating or mild diarrhea. These symptoms usually pass within a few days.

The capsules we use for SerraDefend are 0.72in long and 0.42in wide. They're quite compact and most of our customers find them very easy to swallow.

We recommend taking SerraDefend without food and at least one hour away from your meal. That will allow the systemic enzymes to pass through to your intestine safely. The exact time of day does not matter, but it should be at least an hour away from any meal.
